Product Description
The Bookwalter Balfour Blade is a replacement Bookwalter retractor blade designed for attachment to compatible Bookwalter ratchets. Its curved Balfour-style profile provides broad tissue engagement for abdominal wall and soft-tissue retraction during open surgical procedures.
The blade mounts into standard Bookwalter ratchets to retract and hold abdominal wall margins, muscular tissue and soft organs. The curved lip distributes retraction force across a broad contact area, and the standard notched handle shank seats into slide-on and tilt ratchets.
