Bookwalter Retractor Blades

Blades are the part of a Bookwalter-style set that changes most between procedures and the part most often replaced. Retractor Maker supplies individual and replacement blades in the common Balfour, Kelly and malleable profiles, as well as deeper and small-frame blades.

Blades differ mainly in width, depth and whether they can be shaped intra-operatively. Malleable blades can be bent to follow anatomy; fixed-profile blades hold a consistent shape under load.

To order a replacement, send the blade profile with the width and depth measured from the blade being replaced, or a photograph of it. Blades can be ordered without a complete system.
