Bookwalter Retractor Systems
Bookwalter-style retractor systems are table-mounted and self-retaining: a bar clamps to the operating table rail, a field post carries a ring above the incision, and blades clamp to that ring to hold exposure without an assistant. Retractor Maker supplies complete configurations as well as individual components.
Configurations differ mainly by ring geometry and blade selection rather than by the core hardware, which is why the same system can be adapted to general surgery, urology, gynecology, bariatric and hand surgery.
If you already run a Bookwalter-style set and need to extend or repair it, individual rings, posts, ratchets, bars, clamps and blades can be supplied on their own.
