The Bookwalter Hand Surgery Retractor System is a compact self-retaining retractor set built around a 7″ Mini-Bookwalter split ring. It provides stable, hands-free retraction for delicate hand, wrist and upper extremity procedures. Mini tilt ratchets and a twist ratchet position the included single, double, triple and quad hook blades around the operative field. The complete set is manufactured from non-magnetic, surgical-grade stainless steel and supplied in a sterilization box.
Product Description
The Bookwalter Hand Surgery Retractor System is a compact self-retaining retractor system designed to provide stable, hands-free retraction during delicate hand, wrist and upper extremity surgical procedures. The set is built around a 7″ (17.5 cm) Mini-Bookwalter split ring, which forms the working frame around the operative field.
Four mini tilt ratchet mechanisms and a mini twist ratchet secure the included blades to the split ring and allow the angle and tension of each blade to be adjusted independently. The system includes single hook, double hook, triple hook and quad hook Mini-Bookwalter blades, available with sharp or blunt tips, so the blade configuration can be selected to suit the exposure required. A StrongArm Holder is available separately for table mounting.
All components are manufactured from non-magnetic, surgical-grade stainless steel and are supplied in a dedicated sterilization box for organized storage and processing. The system is reusable and fully autoclavable.
The system is supplied non-sterile. It must be cleaned and sterilized according to the healthcare facility's validated procedures before use. Retractor Maker, based in Sialkot, Pakistan, manufactures and supplies this system directly to hospitals, surgeons and distributors.
