The Bookwalter Meyerding Blade is a replacement Bookwalter retractor blade designed for retraction of dense paraspinal musculature, heavy fascia, and soft tissue during posterior spinal and orthopedic procedures.
The rigid working face carries a toothed, serrated lip that hooks and maintains positive purchase on dense muscle and periosteal margins without slipping. The standard notched handle shank seats into slide-on, tilt and self-retaining Bookwalter ratchets.
