The Bookwalter Horizontal Flex Bar links the vertical field post and post coupler assembly to the ring frame of a table-mounted Bookwalter retractor system. Its flexible horizontal extension allows the frame to be positioned precisely over the surgical site, and its clamping arrangement then locks the ring securely in place.
The uniform-diameter tightening knob is designed for back-loading into post couplers, so the bar can be introduced and adjusted without dismantling the rest of the assembly.
