Product Description
The Bookwalter Field Post is the vertical support component of a table-mounted Bookwalter retractor system. Clamped to the operating table side rail through a post coupler, it carries the horizontal bar, ring frame, ratchets and blades, and determines the working height of the whole assembly above the surgical site.
Three lengths are supplied so the assembly height can be matched to the patient, the approach and the depth of the operative field: 12" (30 cm), 18" (45 cm) and 24" (61 cm). Select the length you require on this page and the price and order message update accordingly.
Each post is machined from non-magnetic, surgical-grade stainless steel and is compatible with standard Bookwalter Retractor Systems, post couplers and operating table side-rail clamps. Posts are supplied brand new, non-sterile and fully autoclavable, in individual protective packaging.
