The Bookwalter Sternal Blade is a replacement Bookwalter retractor blade designed for retraction of chest wall margins, intercostal tissue, and sternal borders during open thoracic and cardiothoracic procedures.
The rigid, low-profile working face carries a lip bend engineered for firm anchoring against bony chest wall margins and thick intercostal tissue. The standard notched handle shank seats into slide-on, tilt and self-retaining Bookwalter ratchets.
