The Bookwalter Oval Solid Ring is the primary rigid perimeter platform suspended over the surgical site, onto which ratchets and retractor blades are attached and positioned during open surgical procedures.
As a solid one-piece ring it gives a fixed, stable frame with no articulation points. Three sizes are supplied: small 8" x 12.25" (20.3 x 31.1 cm), medium 10.5" x 14.5" (26.7 x 36.8 cm) and large 12" x 18.5" (30.5 x 47.0 cm).
