The Bookwalter Oval Segmented Ring is the articulated perimeter frame suspended over the surgical site, onto which ratchets and retractor blades are mounted and positioned.
Because the ring is segmented, the frame can be angled and contoured to the exposure and used as a full closed oval, an angled articulated frame or an open partial ring. Three sizes are supplied: small 8.5" x 14" (21.6 x 35.6 cm), medium 10.5" x 19" (26.7 x 48.3 cm) and large 12.5" x 19" (31.8 x 48.3 cm).
