The Bookwalter Rotating Tilt Ratchet is a replacement Bookwalter retractor component designed to connect retractor blades to ring frames while providing rotational and angular adjustment. The mechanism allows controlled positioning of the attached blade during surgical retraction.
It combines a dual-axis rotational joint with an incremental linear ratcheting drive and a quick-release lever, so the attached blade can be lifted and angled to maintain surgical exposure. It is fully compatible with standard Bookwalter retractor systems, ring frames and notched retractor blades.
