The Bookwalter Self-Retaining Tilt Ratchet is a replacement component designed to secure compatible retractor blades to Bookwalter ring frames. Its independent spring-loaded clip helps retain the blade during setup and tissue retraction.
The clip works independently of the ratcheting drive, which helps prevent accidental disengagement of the blade while the frame is being assembled and while tissue is held. It is fully compatible with standard Bookwalter Retractor Rings and notched retractor blades.
