The Bookwalter StrongArm GYN Surgery System is a self-retaining retractor set configured for gynecological, vaginal and pelvic surgery. A top mount StrongArm Plus holder with rail clamp supports a 9½″ × 14½″ perineal ring with notches, and four self-retaining tilt ratchets hold vaginal lateral, vaginal posterior and Deaver blades. Manufactured from non-magnetic, surgical-grade stainless steel and supplied non-sterile in a sterilization box.
Product Description
The Bookwalter StrongArm GYN Surgery System is a self-retaining retractor system mounted on the StrongArm Plus holder. The holder is clamped to the operating table rail and supports the retracting frame, providing stable, hands-free exposure during gynecological, vaginal and pelvic surgical procedures.
The mounting system is an articulated top mount StrongArm Plus with a table-rail-compatible clamp. It carries a perineal ring with notches measuring 9½″ × 14½″ (24.1 × 36.8 cm); the notched profile allows blades to be seated at defined positions around the perineal working area.
Four standard multi-angle self-retaining tilt ratchets lock to the ring and hold each blade at the chosen depth and angle. The blade complement comprises two vaginal lateral blades at 1″ × 3″ (2.5 × 7.6 cm), one vaginal posterior blade at 1″ × 4½″ (2.5 × 11.5 cm) and two Deaver blades at 1″ × 3½″ (2.5 × 8.9 cm) and 1″ × 5″ (2.5 × 12.7 cm).
All components are manufactured from non-magnetic, surgical-grade stainless steel. The set is brand new, reusable and fully autoclavable, and is supplied non-sterile — it must be cleaned and sterilized according to the healthcare facility's validated procedures before use. The system is supplied in a sterilization box that protects and organizes the components. Retractor Maker manufactures the system in Sialkot, Pakistan and supplies it directly to hospitals, surgeons and distributors, with a minimum order quantity of one full set.
