The Small Incision Accessory Set expands an existing Bookwalter General Surgery Retractor System for limited-exposure and small-incision operations. It supplies a Gelpi hook blade, 1″ × 1½″ and 1″ × 2½″ Kelly blades and an 8.5″ inner-diameter small round solid ring in a dedicated sterilization box.
The Small Incision Accessory Set is an add-on kit for surgical teams that already own a Bookwalter General Surgery Retractor System and work through limited exposures. It is not a standalone system — it is fully compatible with Bookwalter General Surgery Retractor Systems and standard Bookwalter-style components.
The kit contains a Gelpi hook blade with a standard fine-point profile for precise, narrow retraction, along with 1″ × 1½″ (2.5 × 3.8 cm) and 1″ × 2½″ (2.5 × 6.3 cm) Kelly blades for shallow retraction at two depths. An 8.5″ (21.3 cm) inner-diameter small round solid ring gives a compact frame that keeps hardware clear of a small incision.
All components are manufactured from non-magnetic, surgical-grade stainless steel and supplied in a dedicated sterilization box. The set is supplied non-sterile, is reusable and fully autoclavable, and must be cleaned and sterilized according to your facility's validated procedures before use.
Retractor Maker manufactures and supplies the set directly from Sialkot, Pakistan.

The Bookwalter Retractor is a table-mounted, self-retaining surgical retractor system associated with the surgeon Dr. John Bookwalter. Understanding how the concept came about makes the design of today's systems easier to follow: a frame anchored to the operating table, a retractor ring, ratchet mechanisms and interchangeable blades.
